WOOD SHINGLE SIDING
Timeless Natural Cedar Shingles
Few exteriors say New England like cedar shingles. Natural wood brings warmth and character, and shingles can be left to weather to a soft silver gray, or be stained or painted to the color you want.
Wood shingles are installed one course at a time, so craftsmanship shows. We focus on a breathable, drainable wall assembly, correct exposure and spacing, stainless or hot-dipped fasteners and careful flashing, so your shingles stay dry and last.
Real wood grain and texture with character that only cedar can give.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How long do cedar shingles last?
With good installation, ventilation behind the shingles and regular maintenance, cedar shingles can last for decades. Lifespan depends on sun and moisture exposure and how well the wall can dry.
Do cedar shingles need maintenance?
Yes. Natural shingles should be inspected periodically, and stained or painted shingles need to be refinished over time. Keeping gutters clean and vegetation away from walls helps a lot.
Should I choose red cedar or white cedar?
White cedar is the traditional New England choice and weathers to a silver gray. Red cedar has richer color and is often stained. We will show you samples of both.
Can you match my existing shingles?
In most cases we can source shingles of the same species, size and exposure, and blend repairs into existing walls. Weathered color may take time to match naturally.
